Many thanks to everyone who has supported this first year of getting the Foodbank up and running - with ideas, encouragement, energy, money, gifts of food and prayers.
A recent donation from a business contact has seen us the recipients of 700+ jars of sandwich pickle, 100 jars each of marmalade and ginger jam and 100 tins of Aduki beans - which we will be sharing with other foodbanks in the area.
Over the last few months we have received many donations from local churches, groups and schools. Minnie Patel and her husband, who run the "Box of Delights" store in Woodstock are among our regular donors and we want to say a big thank you for their support.
Our thanks also go to the headteachers, staff and pupils of the Marlborough School, Woodstock, and Gosford Hill School, Kidlington, both of which have held Spring food collections for us, and to Helen Vallis's Brownie pack, who made gift bags to accompany the Christmas food parcels.
